More than a decade ago, Jesus called me out of the secular music industry to fully follow Him. I was a media professional promoting major recording artists within the industry, and when I left, never thought I’d do anything media-related again.

This decision sparked much spiritual warfare and criticism from peers (especially those in the church). They didn’t believe God would tell me to leave a position that they held in such esteem. But they were wrong.

I stepped out in faith, only to be met with a host of financial challenges, including being homeless with no job for an extended period. I was forced to trust God as my provider, experiencing his supernatural provision daily.

The challenges didn’t end there. I encountered a host of other hardships, including the loss of a parent and more financial turmoil in my newlywed life. But I also experienced the greatest joys of my life after walking with Christ.

The biggest surprise of all has been returning to media, but this time with a Kingdom focus. Now I use video, podcasting, and social platforms to spread the message of Jesus.

Whether I’m teaching on deliverance, marriage, or money, the core mission remains the same—to show everyone that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life.
