Do you want to know Jesus?
The Bible says the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), and since every person has sinned, that means we all owe our very lives.
That’s why Jesus Christ the Son of God came, died on the cross, and rose from the dead.
He took our death for us, paying our debt for sin so that anyone who believes in His name can be forgiven and have eternal life.
Jesus did this because of His great love for you and me!
The Bible (which is the Word of God) says:
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16 NIV)
The decision to accept or decline Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior will affect all of us for eternity.
The “death” the Bible refers to is an eternal death that will happen to a person who does not have their sins forgiven.
Apart from having a relationship with Jesus, no person will be forgiven for sin. That’s because Jesus is the One who paid the debt for us by sacrificing His own life, so it is only through Jesus that we can be saved.
If you would like to make Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior of your life, you can begin by saying the following prayer out loud:
Lord Jesus,
I believe you died and rose.
I confess with my mouth, without anyone forcing me, that I am saved. Remove my name from the book of death, write my name in the book of life.
Amen
After accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life, I encourage you to be baptized and continue growing in your relationship with Him by praying daily and studying the Bible.
