Did You Give Up On Your Dream?

Is there a goal or dream you’ve given up on?

Maybe it was to start a business, make an impact in your church, or simply lean into your God-given creativity in a way that’s meaningful to you.

It’s possible the blows of life discouraged you from even thinking about it, and maybe you’ve completely forgotten about it or given up.

You said to yourself, “how can I even think about that dream or make time for it when it’s not making me money and financial stress is taking over?”

I’ve been there too. But listen…

When we make time for our God-given passions, we release stress and have more emotional and mental energy to deal with the hardships.

Passion, purpose, and fulfillment are energizing.

If there’s a little voice inside you right now saying, “this is me!” then I want to invite you to connect with God and ask Him to breathe new life into that dream of yours.

Start with small, intentional steps. Like carving out 30 minutes in your week to work on your dream.

Maybe it’s over lunch or in the evening after your prayer time.

Focus on quality and consistency over quantity.

Remember…

God is still writing your story!

I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches. Who is weak, and I do not feel weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn?

2 Corinthians 11:27-29
